It’s a record

It has been hot this summer, but I didn’t know it was quite this hot…

+266° F? No wonder I was sticking to myself on the way home today. But hey, at least the humidity was low, so it only felt like 200. By the way, I apologize for the poor image quality, but I was having trouble driving, holding onto my Sprite Zero, singing along to the radio (loudly and badly), dodging traffic, and snapping a picture on my camera phone all at the same time.

Now, Rush Limbaughs of the world, don’t even try to tell me there’s no such thing as global warming!

For those of you unfamiliar with Knoxville, this is Judy’s, a local…well, I’m not exactly sure whether it’s a diner, nightclub, or something altogether more sinister. Depending on your angle and the time of day, it kind of looks a little like a Stuckey’s, a Cracker Barrel, a gas station, or a pawn shop. Suffice it to say I’ve never seen the inside of the place; however, I have to say that I’m more than a little curious about exactly what they have going on in there.

  1. Hi there just dropped by on a cyber walk. It’s been hot around here too, hotest since records began so they say. Here by the way is High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK. Thats a town about halfway between London and Oxford, famous for making chairs, that was a few years ago. Oh when I said hot it’s been about 30C at times (way to hot for me) .
Well keep up the Blogging and have fun with it,I’ve made a few good friends over the past few weeks I’ve been doing it. Shirley
