Hello there. My name is Greg Edwards, and this is my first blog entry.
If you were looking for weather forecasts or sports scores, then you took a wrong turn at that link three pages back.
For those of you who don’t already know, a "blog" (short for "Web log") is a personal journal, of sorts, that is posted to the online universe to ensure that all of mankind gets a glimpse of what’s on the author’s mind. Which raises the question, why the hell do I think you’d care what’s on my mind? ‘Cause you’re still here (I know, I know, I had you at "hello").
Read on, brother.
The truth is that, like most blogs, this is an optimistic and foolhardy endeavor. At best, I’ll probably keep it going for a few days or weeks, and then abandon it for something newer and shinier, with several more bells and a multitude of whistles. In fact, it’s quite likely that this will be the first and last entry you’ll ever read in this blog. However, maybe this is the start of something BIG, and when you’re old (assuming you’re not old already), you’ll be able to look back and tell your great-great-grandkids that you remember reading issue #1 of this legendary blog.
At any rate, welcome to my blog. If you don’t expect too much, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed (those are words I live by).

Legendary? Maybe… but it is kind of fun to see what is on others minds.. The web has made the world seem smaller and bigger at the same time. It’s neat to just ckeck out sites of people on the other side of this earth.. It does show as I come to believe that we are more alike than differnent.. Who knows maybe a Blog might bring true peace on earth.
